Neill Grant

Neill is a highly experienced lawyer and commercial probity adviser of over 25 years, specialising in government, procurement and contractual advice. Neill has operated at senior levels within private practice and for many Commonwealth government departments in both an in-house adviser and consultant capacity.

The expertise that Neill brings to SilverGroup includes wide-ranging experience in providing commercial and contracting support for complex government procurements and funding arrangements, ICT procurements and contracts, international transactions and consultancy services. 

Neill has consulted extensively across key government departments, including the Departments of Defence, Human Services, Industry, Innovation and Science and Treasury. He has provided comprehensive advice and direction across the full spectrum of legal and commercial issues in relation to procurement, business cases, approach to market documentation, probity issues, tender evaluation, contractor negotiations, risk management, dispute resolution and contract management. 

Neill is admitted to practice in the ACT Supreme Court and High Court of Australia. He holds Bachelor of Business and Laws as well as a Master of Laws.

 
 
 
 

 
 
 

Greg Wallace

Greg is an experienced Commonwealth public service delivery practitioner, having spent more than 25 years operating in various project-based roles from hands on delivery through to program management.

Greg has held senior management positions and advisory roles across many high-profile government departments, including Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet (PM&C), Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, Attorney-General’s Department, Department of the Treasury (Treasury) and Department of Defence. 

Greg is well-versed in the successful delivery of cross government projects. During his time in PM&C, Greg worked with the National Security Community and the G20, and in Treasury he held a senior management role within shared services, managing a clientele of 20 agencies.

Greg holds a Master of Business Administration, majoring in project management, from Deakin University and a Bachelor of Engineering with a major in Mechatronic Engineering with first class honours from the University of Southern Queensland. Greg is a member of The Institution of Engineers Australia and holds many vocational training qualifications, including MSP and PRINCE2 practitioner, P3O, Benefits Management and Gateway certification.
